Omega Sigma Tau is the official host of Battle Royale. We are the first and largest Asian-interest fraternity at UCLA and proudly enter our 43rd year of leadership, excellence, life long friendships, and service to the community.

Mission Statement
1.) Promoting friendship and service within the University and the community.
2.) Promoting scholastic achievement
3.) Promoting a social program.
4.) Cooperating with other student organizations in their service to the community and school.
5.) Upholding the standards of the University and developing the best qualities of character.
History
Omega Sigma Tau was founded in 1966 by Ron Watanabe, Bob Tsutsui, and Dennis Onoda of the Nissei Bruins Men’s Club. The initial charter group consisted of about twenty men. Since its founding in 1966, Omegas has grown to become one of the largest and most active fraternities at UCLA. Although the size of the fraternity does fluctuate, Omega Sigma Tau maintains an average of 65 members per year, and this fraternity has seen days when there were over 80 members during a school year.
Service
Omegas are committed to community involvement, as such we have multiple service events throughout the year. We are able to walk from each service event with a more opened mindset, with a sense of accomplishment, and a great experience in giving back to the community. Whether it be canned food drive, planting trees, tutoring children, Omegas have been there, and have been a part of the community’s effort of philanthropy. Our official charity is the Little Tokyo Recreation Center in their ongoing efforts to build a community center.
