This year’s Battle Royale LA 2009 will be held at the iconic Los Angeles Union Station, home of the Chris Brown “Gimme That“ video, so it’s no stranger to hosting the boogie.
Not sure how you’re going to get there? Doesn’t matter! Just reserve a ticket on one of our buses leaving from campus and don’t worry about your ride. It’s going to be epic!

Judges Announced
As always, Battle Royale LA 2009 will produce the greatest UCLA Dance Battle we have yet to see. This year’s judging panel has to be the most star-studded cast to date, and you know they won’t disappoint.
Name: Taeko Carroll
Team(s): Fysh n Chick, Beast Mode
Notables: Top 5 crews of season 1 of MTV’s America’s Best Dance Crew. She stole the spotlight when she performed as the lead in Week 5, the Thriller challenge. Since the show, she has been teaching all around the world, inspiring all those who take her classes.
Name: Mike Song
Team(s): Kaba Modern, Culture Shock Los Angeles
Notables: Kaba Modern took 3rd Place on Season 1 of MTV’s America’s Best Dance Crew. Mike Song is known for his precise animation popping as well as tutting styles.
Name: Katee Shean
Dance Style: Contemporary
Notables: Katee was the top girl on Fox’s So You Think You Can Dance: Season 4 and received positive remarks on almost every dance she performed. She almost did not even make it onto the show but quickly became one of the favorites.
